STEVEN R. CRIST Mr. Crist is a graduate of Wabash College where he received his A.B. degree in 1965 and a graduate of Indiana University Law School from which he received his J.D. degree in 1968. After completion of law school, he moved to Northwest Indiana and has since practiced law in the area. Mr. Crist has concentrated his practice in the areas of litigation and labor relations. He is a frequent speaker at legal seminars on employers' rights and obligations. He has received certification by the Indiana Supreme Court as a civil mediator and is often selected by judges and fellow attorneys to serve as mediator for a variety of cases, including contract and labor disputes, personal injury, product liability and premise liability. Mr. Crist represents several school corporations, public employers, and private employers in all facets of labor relations including union organizing and representation matters, negotiation of labor agreements, grievance processing, arbitration hearings, and court proceedings. In addition to Mr. Crist's extensive experience in the area of labor law, he continues to be active in litigation matters. Mr. Crist is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Indiana Defense Lawyers Association, a member of the Indiana Workmen's Compensation Defense Lawyers Association and a member of the Indiana and American Bar Associations.
